4P’s an Exhibition by Margaret Drever

Woolgoolga Gallery are hosting an exciting exhibition by Margaret Drever, named 4P’s.
4P’s stands for 4 of the many mediums that Margaret uses, Paper, Paint, Porcelain and Pouring. Acrylic pouring, is the newest of Margarets interests, she says “this medium has a mind of its own but it is possible to create wonderful images that emerge from nothing.”
Margaret, a long standing member of the Woolgoolga Art Group ran a beginners Watercolour class at the gallery, some students she taught still exhibit their works at the gallery today.
She has attended many workshops of all different mediums since 2007. Travelling from Grafton to Bowral, she was taught by talented tutors, some with international following and even attended a 20 day watercolour class around the Greek Islands.
Margaret has been a wonderful benefactor through her art of many charities, including Coffs Legacy, Woolgoolga Retirement Village, Link Housing and now Beyond Blue. Margaret says “All of us have been touched by someone who has experienced a loved one suffering from a situation that is referred to as a mental health issue. Bringing awareness to this issue called mental health may in some way assist or help someone who is looking for support in this very issue seek or contact Beyond Blue.” Her son and son-in-law have supported Beyond Blue running the marathon, but now due to health concerns are unable to compete this year and she says “It is now my turn to show support on behalf of them to Beyond Blue through this exhibition to which I will donate 25% of the sales during August. If you cannot attend the gallery or have no desire to purchase a piece of art you can still donate to Beyond Blue through this link.
